Nova Home Care provides home health services in accordance with the directives of the Quebec government.

Nova Home Care follows government preventive measures to reduce the impact and risk of COVID-19 transmission for its employees, volunteers, clients, their families, and the community.

For all our programs, care and services are provided by Nova Home Care nurses, social workers, and support staff over the phone and/or in person.

Question 1: Does Nova Home Care provide home care for all its services?

Answer: YES. Nova Home Care offers its services across all its programs for both current and new clients.

Question 2: I am currently a Nova Home Care client; can I contact my designated nurse or social worker?

Answer: YES. You can dial 514-866-6801 and leave a message in the voicemail box of your designated nurse or social worker, who will contact you as soon as possible.

Question 3: I need information regarding Nova Home Care; can I visit their administrative offices?

Answer: NO. Nova Home Care's administrative offices are closed to the public. All administrative staff are working remotely.

 

Question 4: What should I do if I believe I have contracted the coronavirus?

Answer: If you are concerned about COVID-19 and/or have any of the following symptoms: cough, fever, chills, difficulty breathing, or a sore throat, call 514-644-4545 or 1-877-644-4545. The Quebec government has published a guide (Self-care Guide - COVID-19) designed to help you make the best decisions to protect your health and that of your loved ones.

Question 5: Can I visit friends and/or family members currently hospitalized in residences, long-term care centers, or private retirement homes?

Answer: The Quebec government's website provides answers to all questions related to the pandemic and its effects on our society.

Question 6: A family member may need palliative care soon, how can Nova Home Care help me?

Question 7: I am an elderly person living alone and I am worried about this virus, how can Nova Home Care help me?
